Natural Language Processing: The PLNLP Approach describes one group's decade of research in pursuit of that goal. For two generations, the tantalizing goal has been to get computers to handle human languages in ways that will be compelling and useful to people. Natural language is easy for people and hard for machines. Also this study will be helpful in developing other Natural Language Processing (NLP) applications like converting a compound sentence in simple sentences, grammar checking of compound sentences. This study will be helpful in identifying and separating the compound sentences from Telugu language. The structure of compound sentence can be identified on the basis of number of clauses and types of clauses present in them. For grammar checking of compound sentence, it is necessary to identify the structure of these sentences. After identification of patterns, various clauses present in the sentence are extracted and grammar checking is performed on them.

Once the sentence is identified as compound or complex sentence, the next step is to identify its pattern.

A sentence composed of single independent clause is called a simple sentence and a sentence having more than one independent clause is a compound sentence. Ī Grammar Checking for Telugu Language Compound Sentences is one of the basic applications of the Natural Language Processing. Generation approach used for automatic Induction of rules for text simplification, simplification of Newspaper text to assist Aphasic reader, text simplification for information seeking applications, maintaining discourse when performing syntactic simplification, splitting of long sentence after explanation. The rule based approach has been used for Dutch language, Czech and Bulgarian language, English language, Swedish language, German language, English language, Korean language, Danish language, French, German, and Spanish languages, French language, Swedish language, German language, Swedish languge, Urdu language, English languge, Swedish languge, English language, , Brazilian Portuguese language, Nepali language, Persian language, Afan Oromo (language widely spoken and used in Ethiopia), LexSiS: Lexical Simplification for Spanish etc. These includes rule based approach, syntax based approach and statistics based approach. The proposed system detects and corrects about 20 frequent Persian grammar errors and tested on a sample dataset, retrieved about 70% and 83% accuracy respect to precision and recall metrics. This paper briefly describes the concepts and definition of grammar checkers in general followed by developing the first Persian (Farsi) grammar checker leading to an overview of the error types of Persian language. Grammar checking phase starts after spell checking is finished. Grammatical errors are described as wrong relation between words like subject-verb disagreement or wrong sequence of words like using plural noun where a single noun is needed.

You can input your text and the computer program will point out to you the spelling errors. Therefore, existence of automatic systems such as spell and grammar checker/corrector can help in reducing costs and increasing the electronic texts and it will improve the quality of electronic texts. Producing electrical documents has considerable benefits such as easy organizing and data management. With improvements in industry and information technology, large volumes of electronic texts such as newspapers, emails, weblogs, books and thesis are produced daily.
